Victoria Police is questioning a truck driver over a fatal hit and run in Somerville on February 14.
The 54-year-old man handed himself into police yesterday and is assisting them with their inquiries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives released him pending further investigation.
A 19-year-old woman died when she was struck by a truck travelling north on Frankston-Flinders Road. The vehicle did not stop.
