Fuel supplier BP has opened a new truckstop in Melbourne’s east near the Eastlink and Monash freeways.

The site at Dandenong cost $10 million and comes with refuelling positions, hi-flow pumps and extensive parking. BP says the truckstop also includes a weighbridge, while AdBlue is available at the pump.

“We now have 40 dedicated truckstops and key diesel sites in our network. These facilities are on major trunk roads and are designed specifically with truck drivers’ needs in mind. They offer access to the best rest, refuelling and restaurant facilities on the road,” BP Australia Vice President Mike McGuinness says.

“No matter where you are in Australia, BP offers a consistent Truckstop offer and our sites are located where we can support the road transport industry. Being in the right location makes it efficient for drivers to refuel and keep moving.”
