There will be changed traffic conditions on the Pacific Highway in South Woolgoolga in New South Wales this week.

Line marking will be carried on Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 5am at the highway between the northern Pacific Highway Graham Drive intersection and Hearnes Lake Road.

Short delays are expected during the work. Traffic management and reduced speed limits will be in place.

Drivers are advised to plan their journey and allow for extra travel time.

Meanwhile, traffic on the Hume Highway in Victoria is being diverted near Violet Town after a fatal B-double crash at 4.30am today. The truck burst into flames after hitting a tree, killing the driver.

Victoria Police expect the section of highway to reopen today.
