Police warning after truckie nabbed again for drug use

B-double driver returns a positive drug test for the fourth time in 13 months

October 8, 2012

South Australia Police has issued a warning to repeat road offenders after a B-double driver returned a positive drug test for the fourth time in 13 months.

Inspector Andrew Thiele says police will continue to target those who have a “blatant” disregard for the law and safety of other road users.

The 36-year Irymple man from Victoria returned another positive methamphetamine test when South Australia Police stopped him at Gepps Cross late last week.

He will appear in court at a later date.
