Police in New South Wales are seeking witnesses after a truck had its windscreen smashed in a rock throwing incident in the Lake Illawarra region last week.

A cement truck was travelling north on the Pacific Highway at Dunmore on November 21 when a person in a bush threw a rock at the vehicle as it approached the Minnamurra River bridge overpass.

The rock smashed the windscreen of the truck on the driver’s side. The 39-year-old driver slowed the truck, which was travelling 100km/h, to a stop. He was uninjured.

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who may be able to assist with information to come forward.
