International freight operator Mainfreight has joined the ranks of the industry accreditation scheme TruckSafe.

TruckSafe announced today the Ballarat and Albury arms of Mainfreight became its newest members.

Mainfreight runs an international network of road, rail, sea and air transport stretching through America, Asia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

“The TruckSafe program was recommended to us as their team of experts is able to provide us with up to date changes in legislation and advice on all matters concerning road safety,” Mainfreight National Compliance Manager Maureen Kemp says.

She says membership of the program will help Mainfreight ensure its records are up to date, its vehicles are regularly maintained and drivers are compliant.
