The Western Australian Road Transport Association (WARTA) is providing a range of training courses in time for the implementation of new compliance and enforcement legislation next year.

It has partnered with a training provider and is now providing business-oriented courses, traineeships, cadetships, compliance and enforcement training including business auditing and pilot accreditation training.

WARTA CEO Ian King says an on-line training facility has also been introduced for those in remote areas.

“We can now offer a ‘one stop shop’ to resolve industry training needs,” King says.

“We have attracted some very experienced, highly qualified trainers who are available to run courses that meet industry specific requirements.

“These trainers have many years of experience, mainly with government instrumentalities or the corporate sector.”
