Insurance group NRMA is reminding motorists the speed limits around school zones will resume as students return next week.
The NRMA says 40km/h limits in school zones will begin to apply from Tuesday, despite most children not starting school until the following day.
“We don’t want drivers inadvertently breaking the law and getting booked for driving through a school zone next Tuesday,” NRMA President Wendy Machin says.
