Truck and trailer used in forklift theft

South Australia Police believes truck and trailer were used to steal $24,000 forklift from a suburb north of Adelaide

South Australia Police is calling on witnesses to come forward in regards to the theft of a forklift from a suburb north of Adelaide over the weekend.

It is believed a truck and trailer were used to remove a $24,000 Toyota forklift from a yard on Ridgeway Road at Elizabeth West, about 40 minutes north of the state’s capital.

South Australia Police says the yard’s security chains were cut by offenders who stole the forklift from a storage shed.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who saw anything in the area between 5pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
