South Australia Police is calling on witnesses regarding the theft of a Border Express truck at Salisbury North.

The Hino PK9 truck was stolen from the Border Express delivery centre between 11pm and 12.30am on March 12.

It was later found burnt out at Ceafield Road at Para Hills West.

The rail lift was stolen from the back of the truck prior to it being burnt and was recovered by police yesterday.

It is believed offenders cut a rear fence to the centre on Cross Key Road before breaking into the warehouse and stealing the truck.
