Hume works to close lane at Marulan

Road works on the Hume Highway at Marulan will see the closure of one lane and speed restrictions

April 15, 2013

Road works on the Hume Highway at Marulan in New South Wales will see the closure of one lane and speed restrictions up until April 24.

The Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is rebuilding the road in sections on the north and southbound lanes between 7am and 5pm on weekdays, except Friday.

A 40km/h speed limit will also come in place north of Highlands Way to the south Marulan interchange, which will then be increased to 80km/h after work hours.

Fast-drying concrete will be used to ensure all lanes are open to traffic by 9am on Wednesday, ahead of Anzac Day.

The RMS is calling on drivers to plan their journey and allow extra travel time and obey all traffic signs.
