Road users told to expect delays as work begins on the Cunningham Highway

Road users on the Cunningham Highway in Queensland have been told to expect delays starting from next week when upgrades to a section of the route get underway.
Traffic crews will undertake asphalt works on the highway between Silverdale and Fassifern between April 29 and May 3 from 8pm to 4am each day.
The roadworks will continue during the day Mondays to Fridays and between 7am and 2pm on Saturdays.
“Motorists can expect some delays under stop/go traffic control as work crews carry out asphalt works,” the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads says.
“Wet weather or site conditions may change this schedule.”
