Leading truck insurer National Transport Insurance (NTI) has made
two new senior executive
appointments
to help grow the business.
Marcus Sweeney is the new Chief Information Officer and will be responsible for implementing NTI’s information technology strategy.
Sweeney, who has more than 15 years’ experience in the sector, joined NTI in 2007 as IT Director.
Christopher Hogarty was appointed the Chief Underwriting Officer and will be responsible for developing the strategic direction of NTI’s pricing and portfolio management team, NTI CEO Tony Clark says.
His involvement with NTI goes back to 2006, followed by his role as National Manager of motor portfolio three years ago.
“Chris and Marcus have been instrumental in the growth of NTI and the strengthening of its position as the leader in heavy motor insurance over a number of years,” Clark says.
“Their combined skills and expertise adds to the strong executive team and sets the platform for ensuring NTI achieves its strategic objectives.”
