A truck, trailer and a forklift along with $500,000 of copper cable has been recovered in South Australia.

The white 4.5 tonne Isuzu truck and trailer were stolen from a business on Stanbell Road at Salisbury over the weekend.

The forklift, which was used to remove six large drum coils of copper, was located at an electrical substation at Gould Creek yesterday after police were tipped off from a member of the public.

Another truck reported stolen was found at the same location, with the owner of the property not involved.

The police is asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
