Application forms and submission process given facelift to make them more user-friendly

There is a new, improved look to the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) forms.
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator has, together with the industry and government, updated the forms and submission process for NHVAS applications, making it more user-friendly.
The enhanced process is expected to result in improved turn-around times, the NHVR says.
Form headings and fields have been simplified to make them more consistent, and additional comments making it clearer what information is needed for submission, have been included.
Third parties are now able to complete the forms on behalf of an operator through digital signatures everywhere except in New South Wales.
Forms can now be submitted through the NHVAS website for a speedier approval.
