Revamped safety display to appear at ITTES

The ATA's new-look safety exhibition will be on the display at next year’s International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show

The Australian Trucking Association’s (ATA) revamped mobile safety exhibition will make an appearance at next year’s International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show (ITTES).

The $1.3 million safety truck and trailer is currently under refurbishment after a successful stint travelling across the country.

The exhibition uses interactive displays and videos to teach younger drivers how to share the road safely with heavy vehicles.

The ATA says the exhibition will also feature photo and video displays showing the essential role trucks play in everyday life, as well as addressing common community concerns about the trucking industry.

“The International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show is a chance to see all the local and international suppliers showcase their technology and explain how operators can utilise these developments for their businesses,” ATA Chairman David Simon says.

“This will be the biggest gathering of trucking industry members and suppliers in 2014, and we’re delighted to be part of it.”
