A southern Queensland agricultural firm is seeking public assistance to recover a stolen prime mover and trailer (pictured).

The company’s dark blue Kenworth T604 prime mover has a white roof and was pulling an unmarked 22-pallet Lucar refrigerated trailer.

Though Boonah police have been notified and public assistance has been forthcoming, West Farms Director Kent West hopes greater awareness of the theft will aid the vehicle’s recovery

“No one likes to see a truck and trailer stolen,” West Farms Director Kent West says.

“It’s amazing how many people have rung up to help us find it.”

Thieves took the vehicle and a load of bunched beetroot from Kalbar, just off Cunningham Highway near Aratula, at between 10pm and 2am.

The registration number of the truck is CARROT, VIN 6F50000006A432985 and the registration number trailer is 300QNH, VIN 6T9T25V9760BCB010.
