The increasing number of trucks on local roads will be discussed at next month’s Victorian Transport Association’s (VTA) Freight Week.

VicRoads Executive Director for Policy and Programs Rob Freemantle will lead the session together with Wyndham City Council Infrastructure Director Maurice Stabb, talking about the growth and size of trucks and their impact on the roads and community.

The seminar brings together freight carriers, regulators, road authorities and industry groups who will discuss how to safely move freight in a growing economy.

The session will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at the Melbourne Park Function Centre.
