A truck driver who crashed his rig into a power pole in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond is being asked to come forward.
The prime mover was carrying an earth mover when it turned left into Bridge Road from Burnley Street, lost control and crashed into the pole just after 10am yesterday.
The driver failed to stop at the scene.
Westbound traffic on Bridge Road was blocked with traffic diverted at Burnley Street.
Victoria Police has asked the driver to come forward. It is also urging anyone who has witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
