Road Freight NSW announces partnership

Deal between industry body and law firm to see benefits for members

Road Freight NSW (RFNSW) has formed a strategic partnership with leading national law firm Holding Redlich, which will provide specialist legal support to the state industry body and its members.

Under the program, Holding Redlich, which comments on industry legal matters in the ATN magazine, will become RFNSW’s exclusive legal partner, delivering a range of benefits to the industry group’s members.

These include:

  • a hotline for RFNSW members’ legal enquiries
  • discounted rates for any ongoing legal advice
  • regular legal advice and commentary from Holding Redlich in RFNSW newsletters and on the RFNSW website
  • Holding Redlich’s participation at RFNSW’s upcoming state conference.

“As a highly-regarded law firm, with recognised legal experts in the road transport sector, particularly chain of responsibility, Holding Redlich will be in a position to provide RFNSW members with top-quality legal support,” RFNSW general manager Simon O’Hara says.

“RFNSW is the voice of the road transport industry in NSW and this partnership with Holding Redlich strengthens our core objective of delivering a range of services and benefits to our members.”

Holding Redlich partner Nathan Cecil welcomed the new partnership with RFNSW.

“This pilot program will see Holding Redlich delivering a range of specialist legal services to RFNSW, including a hotline that its members can access for preliminary legal advice,” Cecil says.

“Holding Redlich is well-versed in current regulatory and compliance issues within the road transport industry and we look forward to providing RFNSW with legal advice and supporting its ongoing dialogue with its members.”
