ATA announces Craig Roseneder Award finalists

ATA says the three finalists have been recognised for their individual contribution to the industry

The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has announced the three finalists for the 2016 Craig Roseneder Award.

Recognising individual technical and maintenance excellence in the workshop, the award highlights the work of those in the industry that work behind the scenes.

All from New South Wales, the three finalists in 2016 are Cade Robinson from Borg Manufacturing, Scott Gardiner from Star Track and Dale Hedley from Vellex.

All of which are worthy recipients, ATA chair Noelene Watson says.

"The award is named in honour of the late Craig Roseneder, who was devoted to the development of a safer road transport industry," she says.

"These three finalists are outstanding in their field and demonstrate a high level of safety, expertise and professionalism."

Sponsored by Castrol Vectron, the winner of the award will receive full registration to attend the 2017 American Trucking Associations’ Maintenance Council meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition including return airfares to the US and five nights’ accommodation.

The winner will also gain registration to the 2017 2017 ATA/ARTSA Technical and Maintenance Conference and $1,500.

The award will be handed out at the 2016 TMC conference on October 25.
