Footage was released yesterday by Queensland Police Service, showing one of their motorcycle officers narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with a truck on the Bruce Highway.
The motorcycle officer was travelling southbound through Glenorchy on 24 August when the truck allegedly crossed the double white lines, forcing the officer to take evasive action.
According to reports, the 54-year-old Oakhurst man was disqualified from driving for six months and issued a $2,500 fine.
