The NSW Wetherill Park Truckline has taken out the Branch of the Year Award for 2018, marking two years in a row.
Truckline General Manager Mick Henderson applauded the successful branch, commending the hard work that went into the win.
“Wetherill Park ranked highly throughout the year across all our sales and performance metrics,” Mick said.
“They’ve worked hard, set a consistent performance standard and ultimately come home with the award as a result, something they should be very proud of.”
The 23 Truckline stores across the country are ranked each year based on a traffic light system with metrics like generation of sales, profit and cost management measures assessed.
According to Mick, however, it’s all underpinned by customer relationships, which are paramount to the success of Truckline.
“At Truckline we provide unrivalled service and knowledge and we aim to build a partnership with our customers. If we can do that the sales will follow, and it’s clear Wetherill Park is at the head of the game,” he said.
Wetherill Park Branch Manager Cameron Hart commended his team and says it’s all about keeping customers on the road.
“This result is a real joint effort,” Cameron said.
“The team work very hard to go the extra mile for our customers.
“We know that expenses in this industry are a real concern.
“Ultimately what matters for our customers is to stay on the road and they know they can rely on us to help them.”
The award was presented at the three-day Truckline National Conference on the Gold Coast last week, which saw suppliers and Truckline staff come together to further improve the ability to service customers’ needs.
