NatRoad annual conference set for Brisbane Truck Show

The National Road Transport Association (NatRoad) has announced a partnership with the Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) ahead of the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show (BTS)

The largest transport event in the Southern Hemisphere will offer even more next year, with the annual NatRoad Conference set to be held at the Show.

NatRoad chief executive Warren Clark explains the decision will bring the best from across the industry.

“We are excited to partner with HVIA to deliver our next conference at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show,” Clark says.

“The conference will bring together industry leaders, public and private sector experts and allow attendees to hear from and share ideas with key stakeholders in the road transport sector.

“This conference truly encompasses our vision of a harmonised road freight industry and will provide a platform where businesses can come together with manufacturers to discuss the future.”

The 2019 NatRoad Conference will focus on improving industry safety, long-term sustainability, and national harmonisation.

HVIA chief executive Todd Hacking says bringing the two events together provides stakeholders with even more value.

“We’re looking forward to working with NatRoad to bring together the road transport industry’s two must-attend events under one roof,” Hacking says.

“It will provide all stakeholders with a value-packed experience and a great opportunity to share knowledge and learn about innovative developments across the heavy vehicle industry.”

The conference will be held on 15 May 2019 followed by the Brisbane Truck Show from 16 to 19 May 2019 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
