The video, originally posted to LinkedIn by experienced truck driver Tracee Pearse, discusses the immense pressure placed on drivers by transport managers.

I think it was the most upsetting video I have ever posted,” Tracee says.

There is always a reason why drivers do what they do.

“If my boss threatened not to pay due to a load being late, and that affected my ability to feed my family, I would do the load.

“Never underestimate the power a manager has over his drivers, or the love a truck driver has for his family.”

Tracee highlights her support of the recent Chain of Responsibility (CoR) changes, saying “finally managers can be held responsible for their actions.”

The video has amassed almost 1,000 views on LinkedIn, gaining the support of respected industry professionals and the general public.

“I’ve been contacted by quite a few people,” Tracee tells Owner//Driver.

“Drivers are geting a really hard time now, and it has to stop somewhere.”
