New Kingaroy building signals strong commitment to country customers with extensive OEM and aftermarket parts catalogue
Tranzmile Burnett has finally completed its long awaited move into its new 600 square metre location at Kingaroy, Queensland.
Tranzmile, headquartered in Brisbane, is a family owned business under the Harvey Black group, which also incorporates Black Truck Sales group.
Tranzmile says its new larger Kingaroy location on the Bunya Highway, which officially opened on March 4, has enabled the outlet to expand its product offerings on hand and better service the greater Burnett region. This new store is the first example of Tranzmile’s latest building branding which it predicts will become a landmark for travellers from Dalby to Gin Gin.
Tranzmile says, with one of the largest on-hand stock holdings in rural Queensland, the new premises reaffirms its commitment to keeping trucks on the road, and to the businesses of the people who are running them.
According to Tranzmile, it stocks numerous OEM and aftermarket parts brands to suit American, European and Japanese trucks, including BPW, Meritor, Hendrickson, OE Spares, Q8 Oils, Timken, Dana/Spicer and EFS.
Tranzmile Burnett also keeps a range of accessories, general parts and workshop tools/equipment from brands like SP Tools, Narva, Alemlube and CRC.
With the move comes a name change – from Kingaroy Machinery Centre to Tranzmile Burnett, aligning its business in rural Queensland with its existing footprint in metro areas.
“Being part of a national supplier of parts will give our rural customers access to competitive pricing and stock ranges – but in their own backyard,” says Tranzmile’s managing director Cameron Black.
He adds that the new location, while a significant investment in Kingaroy, is absolutely the right strategy.
“I was born and bred in the bush and I really believe it is essential that we keep investing in rural communities and the people there,” Black says. “They are the lifeblood of our country.
“We now have the right facility to give our customers not only the parts they want when they need them, but we’re giving them easy access from the highway so we can provide better service.”
Tranzmile insists that, while it’s official trading name has changed at Kingaroy, the staff haven’t. The company states that it’s a firm believer in developing people and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Tranzmile has seven branches across the east coast of Australia, north from Kingaroy to south at Nowra, NSW.
