Ritchie Bros. to manage Easy Haul asset auction

After two decades of operation Richard Easey says he is ready to downsize his fleet.

Richard Easey, Owner of Easy Haul, has chosen Ritchie Bros. to manage the downsizing of his transport fleet.

Founded in 2002,  Easy Haul has operated out of Gracemere, Central Queensland for two decades.

Richard, with his wife Julie, started the company with just one Mack Fleet Liner and now operate a fleet of Volvo, Mack, and Kenworth prime movers and trailer sets, servicing Central Queensland as well as the entire national market.

Easey says he is thankful for Ritchie Bros’ assistance.

“After a long-standing relationship with Ritchie Bros., we have entrusted them to sell our fleet at the Australian National Unreserved Auction on August 24 and 25. We’d like to thank Ritchie Bros. for their help facilitating our transition to a smaller operation.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our staff and drivers,” says Easey.

Ritchie Bros. Territory Manager, Michael Lindsay is also pleased with the arrangement.

“We feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to manage the fleet downsize for Easy Haul and are delighted they have decided to use Ritchie Bros.

“With our national customer base and commitment to our customers we’re confident the unreserved auction will bring strong interest given the presentation and service history of the fleet, and the long wait times for new machinery, says Lindsay.
