Isuzu recalls more than 370 new trucks over power steering issue

A manufacturing defect on the various 2025 models could cause fluid to leak along the power steering seal

Isuzu Australia has issued a recall for 372 units of various 2025 models due to a manufacturing defect that may cause fluid leaks.

The recall impacts all variants within the Isuzu FTS, FVM, FVR and FVZ models from 2025.

Due to the defect, the power steering pump O-ring seal may have been damaged, allowing fluid to leak.

If this does occur, Isuzu Australia says it could lead to increased steering effort, resulting in a potential loss of vehicle control.

Isuzu Australia says owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing asking them to schedule an appointment with their authorised Isuzu dealer to have the recall carried out free of charge.
