Kenworths dominate winners’ list at Castlemaine for 2025

Out of the 188 trucks to be judged at last weekend’s Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show, Reeve Transport’s Kenworth proved to be the ultimate winner

After another successful running of the Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show last weekend, the judges have confirmed the winners of the major awards.

The Truck of the Show for 2025 went to Reeve Transport, with Matt, Danni and Kai Reeve winning the top award for their 2024 Kenworth T909.

The Best on Ground Saturday award went to Michael of Moloney Bulk Haulage.

In total, 188 trucks were registered to be judged at the show, with 155 trucks taking part in the Sunday morning convoy. For the food lovers, 80 dozen eggs were consumed from the Rotary BBQ tent alone.

The Fleet of the Show went to Morris Transport for its seven rigs that turned up, while the Best Working Rig 2024-25 went to M&T Blanch Transport’s Kenworth T909 and driver Malcolm.

The same award for the 2018-2023 section went to Wilken Bulk Haulage’s Mack Super-Liner, with the 2012-2017 award going to Southern Sons Transport’s Kenworth T909 and the pre-2012 one going to the Kenworth K100G at Campbell Earthmoving and Excavation.

In the historic truck section (pre 1995), Don from Calleja Transport won with his Autocar P MVR, while the Deals on Wheels sponsored restoration award from 1995 to 2011 went to RSD Transport’s Kenworth T900.

Ausway Transport’s Kenworth T659 won the Best Show/Custom award, while the People’s Choice was Morris Transport’s Kenworth T659.

On the local side, the Best Local Truck, coming courtesy of a judge’s special mention, went to Leech Transport’s Kenworth.
