The chiller section has grown from 2,000sqm to 3,000sqm, the freezer space is up to 850sqm from 500sqm, while there are now 12 docks compared to the two previous.
Additionally, Lindsay Australia has also added on-site refuelling, a weighbridge, a truck wash and a 1,350sqm expansion zone to the Hazelmere upgrade.

Lindsay Australia CEO Clay McDonald says investment in these upgrades is critical to strengthen safety, expand capacity, boost network reliability and improve overall efficiency across the operator’s WA operations.

“We are delighted with the new facility at Hazelmere. The purpose-built site will enable us to provide enhanced service and solutions to our existing customers and support Western Australia’s growing freight needs,” McDonald says.
“The new site unlocks our ability to grow our rail and road network and deliver more of Australia’s best to the people of WA.
“I’d like to thank our WA staff for their hard work and dedication in successfully growing the business and our major customers, freight partners and the entire project team for joining us on-site to celebrate the opening of the new facility.”
