The New South Wales government says work on the Milton Ulladulla bypass has progressed through the planning stages, with an important milestone reached.
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) has now issued important Secretary Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) for the $940 million project, meaning the planning process is well underway.
The SEARs provide TfNSW with specific instructions on what issues need to be addressed in the project’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that forms a key part of the development application process.
Aurecon Australasia was awarded the contract for the concept design and environment assessment of the bypass, with the focus now turning to developing the EIS.

“The Milton Ulladulla bypass will transform our region and I’m pleased we’re getting on with the job of delivering it,” federal member for Gilmore Fiona Phillips says.
“This planning work is a vital part of ensuring we get construction-ready and I look forward to seeing the completed EIS and concept design.”
