The National Road Transport Association (NatRoad) has announced that nominations for its 2025 NatRoad Awards are now open to the industry.
The annual NatRoad awards, sponsored by NTI, recognises individuals in the road transport industry who are making a difference, with the awards to be presented during NatRoad Connect 25 at an industry gala dinner on September 11 in Shepparton.
NatRoad CEO Warren Clark has encouraged businesses and individuals within the industry to nominate and put the spotlight on the dedicated and passionate people who keep the industry moving forward.
“Our industry is full of hard-working people going above and beyond and contribute to a better, safer road transport industry,” he says.

“It’s important to make sure the outstanding people, particularly the operators, support staff and up-and-coming young people raising the bar in our industry are recognised for their work.”
NatRoad is calling for nominations from all corners of the road transport industry in the following three categories:
- Professional driver of the year award, recognising a driver’s achievements and professionalism, including exemplary safety performance, commitment to excellence, customer service and efforts to promote the industry
- Excellence in operational support of the year award, honouring strong commitment to the industry and exceptional customer service, including positive attitude, job enthusiasm and leadership potential
- Sam Sali national young driver award, in honour of one of NatRoad’s founding fathers to celebrate an inspirational young professional 30 years and under.
Award finalists will receive complimentary tickets and travel to attend NatRoad’s annual conference on 11 and 12 September 2025, including the industry gala dinner at the Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE), where the awards will be presented. The award winners will receive a $500 cash voucher prize.
