Need for Feed has taken to social media, calling for truck drivers to volunteer later this month for an important hay run.
Following recent bushfires in Victoria, Need for Feed is calling on all drivers with a truck and trailer, and a few spare days to help out, to get involved with the upcoming run.
On the Australia Day long weekend, the group will complete a hay run and attempt to cover all areas impacted by the fires.
“It’s times like this when us Aussies come together to support each other, dig deep when the chips are down and our backs to the wall and all of that stuff to take care of those who need our help,” Need for Feed says.

“It’s that Aussie ethos and community spirit that made this country great and continues to make it great. What could be better than spending it with a bunch of like-minded guys and girls doing what really makes our country great, the way we all pitch in to help our mates in need?
“We’ll find you a load of hay, and fuel and running costs for trucks, meals and drinks for crew are covered.
“You can also let us know if you’re available between now and then for other pick up and deliveries in the comments section at the bottom of the registration form. For others who want to help, if you have a ute and trailer or even car and trailer we can find you something meaningful to do.”
