The New South Wales government has confirmed that OSOM vehicles will face restrictions over the upcoming long weekend as traffic conditions change on the M7 Motorway.
Over the King’s Birthday long weekend from 8pm on Saturday June 7 and 8am on Monday June 9, temporary northbound and southbound right lane closures will be in place along the M7.
These closures will occur near Angus Creek and Rooty Hill between Eastern Road and Woodstock Avenue for the M7 motorway bridge concrete pour activities.

Operators of OSOM travelling under a notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternate route.
Transport for NSW says Class 2 vehicles won’t be detoured and will stay on the M7. Vehicles travelling under a permit have been reminded not to travel off the approved route listed in their permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
