NSW truck show postpones 2025 event due to “lack of input”

The show says a “lack of input” has led to the lack of an event running this year, with the organisers instead turning to 2026

Just a year after it saw a record number of rigs come through the gates, a New South Wales truck show has announced it won’t be running an event this year.

Oaklands Truck Show has taken to social media to reveal it has postponed its 2025 truck show due to “a lack of input”.

The NSW show, which also ran a Lights on the Hill convoy last year in honour of Wayne Martin, is still looking to run a show in 2026.

Last year the Oaklands Truck Show also unveiled its new Wall of Fame, inducting local driver Max Dickens.

Instead of focusing on the show this year, the event organisers are now looking to officially open the Hall of Fame later this year.

“We would love to hear from anybody that would love to help in 2026,” the show says in a social media post.

“We’re looking forward to the 2026 truck show, with the plan of opening the Hall of Fame later this year, dates to be advised. Thank you to all our loyal sponsors and we’d love for you to stay onboard.”
