With more than 35 years’ experience in the Australian insurance industry, Andrew brings deep expertise in underwriting, marine insurance, reinsurance, and risk management.

Andrew has been with NTI since 2017, first appointed the company’s first Head of Marine, overseeing the successful transition and integration of the marine portfolio.

Since 2022, he has served as NTI’s Head of Insurance Risk and Reinsurance, leading strategic reinsurance arrangements and strengthened insurance risk governance in alignment with NTI’s risk appetite.

“Andrew has played a key role in strengthening NTI’s risk framework and driving strategic alignment across the business,” says NTI CEO and former CCO Janelle Greene.

“His deep understanding of the industry, combined with a sharp customer lens, makes him an ideal fit for this critical role.”

Andrew says the appointment is both a privilege and a motivating next step in his career.

“The Chief Customer Officer role leads a team of experts across a broad range of functions,” he says.

“Setting the team’s strategic direction not only supports our market-facing teams but ensures NTI continues to make a positive difference for our customers across the logistics space in Australia.

“That makes this an incredibly rewarding role. NTI is such a fantastic place to work with so many experts that it is very humbling to be given the chance to contribute further in such a pivotal role.

“Being able to utilise my skills and knowledge to make a difference is what makes coming to work each day so worthwhile.

“I’ve been fortunate to work across a number of different areas with some incredible leaders and people across underwriting, reinsurance and risk. This role is a chance to bring all that knowledge and experience together and help our people achieve even more great outcomes and results.”
