In a major step towards securing net zero freight, Kimberly-Clark Australia (KCA) has partnered with Ofload to secure its first electric truck in Australia.
The Volvo FL Electric is now being integrated into KCA’s key transport routes as it pushes to decarbonise its supply chains.
Leased by TR Group, who recently has launched a zero-emission hydrogen truck of its own, the truck will allow Ofload and KCA to cut emissions.
“As a major manufacturer of essential products found in many Aussie homes, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact,” KCA ANZ head of supply chain Jessica Renton says.

“Our freight partnership with Ofload is a key lever within our supply chain and we’re proud to partner with them on this transformative project.”
By replacing one diesel truck with an electric alternative, both Ofload and KCA say the emissions benefit is immense.
“This isn’t just about one electric truck on the road, it marks a pivotal moment where we prove the viability, efficiency, and significant carbon reductions that electric freight can deliver at scale. This is the future of logistics, and we’re leading the way,” Ofload CEO Geoffroy Henry says.
Ofload and TR Group have worked closely with carrier Brisbane Transport to determine the financial viability, network integration and operational efficiency of the transition.
