Penske Australia has issued a recall of 289 of its MAN TGL truck models due to an insulation issue that could lead to a vehicle fire.
All variants within the MAN TGL 4×2, TG-A 6×4, TGL two axle and TG3 three axle have been recalled from 2021 to 2023 due to the manufacturing defect.

Penske Australia says the 24-volt socket in the instrument cluster may have insufficient insulation, potentially leading to a vehicle fire.
Penske says all owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by MAN to schedule an appointment with their nearest dealership and have an inspection and work carried out free of charge.
