Penske Australia to provide 180 trucks to Toll Group

Penske Australia has become Toll Group’s newest strategic OEM partner, with the contract now underway to deliver MAN and Western Star models

Leading logistics supplier Toll Group has appointed Penske Australia as a strategic original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner, with Penske contracted to provide more than 180 Western Star and MAN Trucks trucks.

Deliveries are starting immediately, with the contract including the supply of A-double, B-double and single trailer-rated prime movers in bonneted and cab-over configurations, with the potential in future to supply prime movers capable of pulling quad configurations.

Backed by a 250-year history, MAN’s truck generation will provide Toll with excellent safety features, high efficiency, environmentally friendly solutions and a comfortable driver workspace.

Toll Group will also receive the winner of the Truck of the Year Australasia (ToYA) award for 2024 in the Western Star X-Series.

The Western Star and MAN trucks will be further backed by the service offering of Penske Australia and its comprehensive dealer network.
