Perth-based business PEP Transport has been unveiled as the official transport and logistics partner of Optus Stadium, it announced this week.
The 65,000-seat stadium, which hosts major sporting and music events, will now be supported by the courier and express delivery company.
One of the main benefits of the deal will see the naming rights of Gate E at Optus awarded to the business, now known as the PEP Transport Gate.
PEP says that the partnership will help to grow both PEP and Optus, and work in conjunction with its other partnerships.
“PEP Transport has a rich history of supporting the Western Australian community for over 55 years,” said PEP Transport CEO Tony Florido.
“We’re thrilled to announce this new partnership with one of our community’s most iconic assets, Optus Stadium.
“This new partnership is a significant step for PEP Transport to provide customer, partner and staff experiences, as well as promote our expansive services.
“It complements our existing partnership with the West Coast Eagles, where we are recognised as the Official Ball Delivery Partner.”
“Optus Stadium is passionate about aligning our strategic business partnerships with home grown Western Australian, and national, companies and we’re delighted to welcome and partner with PEP Transport,” adds Mike McKenna, Optus Stadium CEO.
