UD shakes up staff in Volvo integration plan

UD Trucks shakes up management team as it integrates the brand into Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia

UD Trucks is shaking up its management team as it integrates the brand into Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia.

The company says the integration is “well advanced” and the staff changes will help merge the brand into the Volvo structure.

UD Truck has already been integrated into the Volvo Truck Executive Group.

General Manager of the brand, John Bushell, has moved to the Milton office in Brisbane to represent UD within Volvo. He’s joined by marketing advisor Chris Gillespie in Brisbane.

The UD Trucks sales department has also undergone changes, with former parts manager Brett Samuel appointed national sales manager.

“Brett brings a deep knowledge of the UD Trucks business to his new role at Chullora after several years of highly successful leadership in the company’s parts operation,” the company says in a statement.

Current national sales manager, industry veteran John Arthur, will move to the role of national fleet manager.

“The changes will further strengthen UD Truck’s overall operation, and recognise the quality and professionalism of these key staff members,” the company says.
