Michelin rolls out new light truck tyre range

Michelin releases new range of tyres for light trucks designed for operators with demanding, multi-purpose usage

November 2, 2012

Michelin has rolled out a new range of tyres for light trucks designed for operators with demanding, multi-purpose usage.

The company claims the Agilis HD range offers improved mileage and lower operating costs through the use of 30 percent stronger cables for summit protection belts and casing as well as 2kg of additional metallic reinforcement.

Additionally, Michelin contends the new tyres deliver improved traction on rough surfaces thanks to a tread pattern design featuring 10.5mm-wide zigzag grooves and a higher tread groove ratio of 21.6 percent.

The Agilis HD range is manufactured using a compound resistant to cut chip damages from rugged road conditions.

The Michelin Agilis HD is now available in the 7.50R16 dimension in Australia.
