New Cat Trucks model set to debut at Brisbane Truck Show

The truck is expected to cater to road train operators.

A new Cat Trucks prime mover aimed at road train operators will be launched this month at the Brisbane Truck Show.

Alongside the International relaunch, Navistar Auspac will debut the Cat CT630HD truck.

The new model offers gross combination mass of up to 130 tonnes, compared to the existing CT630 model that tops out at 90 tonnes.

The new Cat will feature the C15 engine found in the rest of the brand’s truck lineup but will boast a new front grille.

“It’s fair to surmise this new ‘king of the Cats’ will come with a substantially reworked grille design to afford extra cooling airflow around the tireless C15 engine under the sleek hood,” Navistar says.

Navistar has confirmed the Brisbane Truck Show, which starts on May 14, will mark the return of the International brand to Australia and also provide a platform for the company to show off its LoneStar Blade show truck.
