MaxiTrans to establish new trailer facility in western Sydney

New dealership will have sales, repair and service options.

Equipment supplier MaxiTrans will open a new trailer dealership in Smeaton Grange, western Sydney in November, headed by newly appointed general manager Peter Le Comte.

While the company has two offices in the state, the new premises will provide new and used sales support, and service and repair facilities.

“The addition of a wholly owned MaxiTRANS dealership in Sydney furthers our ongoing investment into providing high levels of customer service through our industry-leading sales, parts, service and repair network,” MaxiTrans managing director Michael Brockhoff says.

“Our Sydney location will offer sales of each of our leading trailer brands and be able to complete all fibreglass, aluminium and steel repairs.”

MaxiTrans has appointed Peter Le Comte to general manager of the region.

“Peter has a demonstrated track record for building and developing a customer service culture and has successfully run some of the biggest heavy vehicle dealerships both here in Australia and in the USA,” Brockoff says.

“He understands what it takes to run a successful retail facility.”

Le Comte previously held management and service positions at Paccar, Mack and Iveco.

When opened, the new MaxiTRANS dealership will be located at 5 Anzac Avenue, Smeaton Grange, in Sydney’s south west.
