Truckline has announced it will stock Macnaught’s new EZ™ Easy Release Grease Coupler from April this year.
The latest innovation from Macnaught is designed to reduce the effort involved in greasing, even under high pressures, bringing greater efficiencies and reduced fatigue to the workplace.
The EZ is the only major coupler on the Australian market featuring metal seals making them maintenance-free and highly reliable.
Similar to the KY, the EZ features the Supergrip™ 3-jaw design providing stronger grip and support for those higher pressure applications.
“We took on board feedback from our customers who have expressed a preference for simple, trigger- operated couplers,” said Macnaught marketing manager Jenia Mehdizadeh.
“We tested a wide range of trigger-operated grease couplers already available on the Australian and international markets. Our test also included customer trials.
“We found that while most of the trigger-operated couplers on the market worked well in normal conditions, under pressure, for example where a grease nipple is blocked, many were very difficult to remove.”
In response, Macnaught has developed the EZ grease coupler featuring superior design and high quality components.
Fluid Handling Product Manager at Macnaught, Utsav Patel, says the EZ Coupler has been designed to be as easy as child’s play.
“Our testing on all similar products in the market reveals that the ergonomic trigger design of the EZ makes light work of releasing the coupler even under pressure,” Mr Patel said.
“The EZ is therefore the easiest grease coupler on the market making the greasing process more efficient and causing less fatigue. This is also good news from an occupational health and safety point of view.”
