MaxiTrans servicing goes mobile

Trailer manufacturer MaxiTrans has introduced MaxiAssist, an on-site servicing and 24/7 trailer breakdown support

MaxiTrans has announced the roll out of MaxiAssist, a mobile support network which it says will provide transport operators with on-site servicing capability and access to trailer breakdown support around the clock.

“MaxiAssist’s on-site servicing capability is designed to provide customers with a significant increase in uptime,” says Gary Buchanan, MaxiTrans general manager service.

“MaxiAssist can conduct the service at the customer’s facility so drivers can focus on other deliveries, giving our customers greater flexibility.”

MaxiTrans says scheduled on-site servicing and repairs is available to customers within the greater areas of Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide between 7am and 5pm.

In addition to providing on-site servicing, MaxiAssist is said to be also respond to calls should customers require trailer breakdown support at any time, any day 24/7, via its network of mobile trailer mechanics.

“It’s about being where we’re needed, when we’re needed, so our customers can keep their freight and our economy moving. That’s what MaxiAssist is all about,” Buchanan says.

“It’s another demonstration of MaxiTrans’ ongoing commitment to providing customers with safer, more efficient and reliable transport solutions.

“Significantly, MaxiAssist is available for all transport operators who own commercial trailers, not just MaxiTrans customers,” Buchanan adds.

MaxiTrans says it will have staff on hand to answer questions at the Brisbane Truck Show at stand number 49.

The Brisbane Truck Show runs from May 16 to 19 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
