Brown and Hurley opens Bundaberg branch

The Australian dealership is expanding into regional Queensland

Australian truck and trailer dealership Brown and Hurley has opened a new regional branch in Bundaberg to provide servicing and parts from its Bundaberg East workshop.

Brown and Hurley says the business services all of Queensland and northern New South Wales, with strong business meaning the dealers have had to open a Bundaberg branch.

The retirement of the owners at Ken Landt Diesel means the left-over space at 104 Scotland Street was perfect for Brown and Hurley.

“Brown and Hurley are excited to be in a position to now better service the Bundaberg region with a range of Paccar parts products, along with quality technicians and an experienced parts team,” Brown and Hurley CEO Paul Hurley says.

“The team in Bundaberg will have training in the Paccar brands over the coming months and look forward to having the opportunity to service existing and new customers in the region.”

Hurley says the move was part of the company’s expansion due to recent success, as the Bundaberg team will join more than 480 Brown and Hurley staff across Australia.

The Bundaberg branch of Brown and Hurley features 10 local employees that includes three administration staff, three parts staff and four service technicians.

“Over the past 75 years Brown and Hurley has grown to become one of Australia’s largest truck and trailer dealer networks,” Hurley says.

“With strategically placed dealerships and more than 480 employees to serve its customers, Brown and Hurley provides trucking companies the full solution for trucks, trailers, spare parts, service and repairs, along with finance and rental equipment.”
