Volvo Trucks has issued a recall of 725 affected trucks in Australia ranging across five models in the 2021-2022 year range.

The Volvo Group Australia says the recall applies to the FH13, FH16, FM11, FM13 and FMX13 trucks from 2021-2022.

Due to a software issue, Volvo says the front windscreen wipers may fail leading to poor visibility for drivers in the event of rain.

This poor visibility can lead to a risk of collision while out on the roads.

Volvo says owners of the affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Volvo Group repairing dealer to schedule an appointment so the work can be carried out free of charge.
