Ritchie Bros announces sponsorship with ATA

Ritchie Bros has begun a partnership with the ATA in order to support more medium and small businesses.

Ritchie Bros says it is joining forces with the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) to provide support for Australian trucker drivers.

Ritchie Bros has announced a new sponsorship with the ATA to provide support to the Australian transport industry, especially to small and medium-sized businesses. 

Ritchie Bros is also partnering with ATA for their major annual event, Trucking Australia 2023 (TA23). This event will be held at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort from March 29 to 31 2023.

The event is set to bring together industry professionals from across Australia and is a unique opportunity for participants to gain insights into industry trends, best practices, and cutting-edge technologies that can help them succeed in the competitive Australian trucking landscape.

Through this partnership, Ritchie Bros and the ATA will work together to provide a range of services and support to the trucking industry in Australia. This will include access to Ritchie Bros’ extensive auction services, which provide a fast and efficient way for trucking companies to buy and sell equipment, as well as ATA’s expertise in the transport industry. 

Ritchie Bros is committed to supporting members of the ATA by offering exclusive benefits. As part of this initiative, ATA members will receive complimentary access to used machinery pricing from Australia’s largest database. This valuable resource will help members make informed decisions when buying or selling equipment.

In separate news, Gordon Brothers & Ritchie Bros Alliance has been engaged to relocate Scott’s Refrigerated Logistics’ assets.

The Alliance says it is helping process the assets of Scott’s while it is in the process of being sold after going into administration recently.

“KordaMentha are directly in control of selling all assets and will continue to sell assets in packages to the market,” a statement from the Gordon Brothers & Ritchie Bros Alliance says.

“Ritchie Bros has simply been engaged to relocate and secure the assets in Ritchie Bros facilities and, as instructed, will facilitate inspections as transactions are processed by the receivers.”
