Roadstop hits back at grubby shower graffiti

Truck driver Adrian Twine uploaded the two photos to Facebook, condemning the behaviour of the unknown vandal.

“I saw this at Caltex Goondiwindi and was ashamed that someone had written this on the sign that asks us to mop the floor when ya finished in the shower,” Adrian wrote.

“The staff are not ya missus and definitely not ya mother so how about mopping up the floor when ya done, it takes 20 seconds to mop. It’s not hard!”

The first picture below shows the message, and the second image is the response of the staff.

The comments on the post all criticised the vandal, for tarnishing the reputation of truckies.

“There’s always one idiot – the time it would have taken to write that he/she could have mopped the floor,” Roz Nanna Turner said on the post.

Or our favourite comment, from James Traill: “Obviously written by a super trucker who’s been there and done it all. The same bloke who pulls up to see if you’re ok when broken down or helps throw a strap over when loading. You know the one. The Facebooker.”
